Hello lovelies!

I still can’t decide which I like better. Glossybox or Birchbox as they both always deliver! I’m super happy with both boxes this month and they have had products that I’ve desperately needed.

I’ve started a Youtube channel which is where I have posted my first video reviews of both boxes and I would love if you can check it out to see the products in use!

Oh and just so you know the boxes are £10 a month and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

First I’ll review my Glossybox as this was the first to arrive this month.

I was over the moon to find out that EVERY product in this months box was full size!!

Karl Lagerfeld + Modelco Baked Blush In Light Beige Not Released Yet

I love love LOVE this blusher. It’s so shimmery and is a beautiful shade. It really highlights my cheekbones and goes really well over my ivory foundation! This is a Glossybox exclusive as it hasn’t even been released yet. There isn’t currently a price or a release date for this product yet but I’m really glad to have tried it before it’s released as it really is a good product.

Eyeko London Fat Liquid Eyeliner RRP: £16

I love wearing liquid eyeliner especially for the cat eye look. However I couldn’t be more useless at putting it on. I have even tried the plastic guides you can get to help me use it and I still end up with a thick smudged line covering half of my eyelid. On the plus side this eyeliner draws really well and it will definitely make it easier for me to apply so I’ma start learning!

Carmex Strawberry Lip Balm RRP: £2.79

I’ve always loved Carmex for their lip balms, it’s my winter must have! This lip balm is strawberry flavoured and really soothes my lips and keeps them moisturised and protected in the sun (thanks to the SPF 15)  it makes my lips feel all tingly and I could actually eat it it smells and tastes so nice!

Model Launcher Safari Bronzer RRP: £20

I was in need of a new bronzer and this Safari bronzer is perfect! It has different shades and gives my skin a sun kissed beachy glow. This leopard print bronzer is talc-free and mineral enriched and is apparently long lasting and waterproof! BINGO!

Matt Effect Transparent Loose Rice Powder RRP £9.35

This is great for using after applying foundation! It gets rid of any shine/oiliness on your skin and doesn’t give you that cakey look that you can get from some products. This gives a nice matte finish to my skin and will now become my go to powder.

Check out my Youtube video review where you can see the unboxing and the products in use!

Now for my Birchbox review!

Beautaniq Beauty Fill + Tame Brow Gel In Brown RRP: £8.60

Yes yes yessss!!! This is awesome! As you may know I have had my eyebrows semi permanently tattooed with individual hairstrokes. This is due to my eyebrows being very thin and gappy (the hair just doesn’t grow). You should get this topped up every few years and I am in desperate need of getting mine topped up so this product was literally a saviour for me! I didn’t need to use my usual eyebrow powder when trying this, as it gave my eyebrows the shape it so desperately needed and kept the hairs in place. I can’t express how much this product has helped me!

Model Co Baked Highlighter In Frose RRP: £24

This product was a sample and not full size so is teeny tiny but oh so cute! This picture doesn’t do it justice but it’s really shimmery and glittery and is a great little highlighter. It gives my cheeks a really nice glow and I love the blend of colours used.

Cath Kidston Hand Cream RRP: £2.50

I think the packaging of this hand cream is super cute and I love all things that are floral! This is a really good product for the price and my hands were nice and soft after using. It’s fragranced with jasmine and orange flower and smells lovely and comforting.

Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator RRP: £25.50

I’ve tried Marcelle products before so I already knew this was going to work well due to previous good experiences. This came out in a light beige colour and worked as a ‘filter’ for my face. It’s a great product to use if you don’t want to wear foundation but have scars and blemishes to cover up (which I do!) My skin felt soft after applying and I think this product will be perfect to use on a daily basis to give your skin a natural beautified look.

Whish Shave Crave In Acai Grapefruit RRP: £14.80

This is an eco friendly shaving cream which made me go ‘hmmmm’ when I first saw it. I have never tried a shaving cream before so I couldn’t wait to give it a go. This has got shea butter, jojoba oil and coconut oil and is made to make shaving easier without irritation. It worked very well and I would recommend trying it but personally, for me I think once I’ve used it all up I’ll stick to my usual shower gel to shave my legs as it’s cheaper and I don’t think I would stretch to pay full price for this product.
