I spend a lot of time in my bedroom.

Sadly I often think it is too much and wish I could spend more time away from it.

However, as is life.

With it being such an important part of the home to me, I have long been all about making it a comfortable, calming and relaxing area of the home.

As well as somewhere with a multipurpose use, so if needs be I can try and get on with some work from my bed.

Of course, there are so many different things you can do around your home to make it feel more comfortable and fitted to your needs. However, here are a few things I would like to do, or have done to help make my bedroom more comfortable.

Bedroom Ideas to Make it a Cosy Hideaway

Think about your bed, what do you need from it? Do you want extra storage, or is all about the style?

There are so many different options out there, you just need to decide what best suits your needs. In a different world, I would totally love a TV Bed.

Afterall we don’t have much spare room in our bedroom and having a TV that hides away is such an awesome idea!

Once you have decided on the bed (perhaps you’ve spent some time nosing around at TV Beds too). You are going to want to think about the mattress.

With so many different types out there, the best thing to do is go and try some out. However, if you can’t a lot of online retailers do offer 100 night (or similar) trials.

This allows you to hopefully get the perfect mattress to suit your needs.

I love some accessories in my bedroom.

Not only do have extra pillows around the place but also blankets. To help keep me comfortable and cosy in bed.

The great thing about extra pillows means you can prop yourself up when needed, while blankets can keep you warm and cosy no matter the situation you have ended up in.

So there are some ideas I think can really make your bedroom feel a little cosier.

However, what about you, what’s your top tip for a cosy bedroom?

This is a collaborative post.
