About my blog:
Single Mom, Strong Traveler is a travel and parenting blog about our family’s adventures in life. I’m a single mom of 5 kids and it shows our successes and fails, laughs and struggles. We showcase some amazing places to visit, food to taste and activities to do.
My main blogging category is:

How and why did you get into blogging:
I’ve always loved writing and exploring the world. I decided to take our adventures and write about them. I started the blog to hopefully inspire other single parents to take that step and start travelling with their children.
Where do you get your writing inspiration from?
From our many adventures as a family. We discover some amazing places and love finding little known spots.
If you could offer some words of encouragement to a newbie or frustrated blogger, what would they be?
Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Your individuality is what will set you apart. Write when you want to and about what you want. And don’t give up when things get tough, the treasure can be right around the corner.
What has changed most about blogging culture/the blogging industry since you started?
I’ve only officially been blogging for a year. The only major change that I’ve experienced is with the privacy and GDPR
What daily tools and platforms do you use in your blogging routine, for research, promotion, sharing and other:
I love the Quik app to create slideshows, LightX for picture editing, Atlas Obsecura website for different places to explore and for sharing I use FB, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.
Tell us about your greatest blogging achievement to date?
We’ve received free tickets to locations and meals and the blog has been nominated for a couple of blogger awards such as the Sunshine Blogger Award and the Blogger Recognition Award. But my greatest blogging achievement was when I received a Tweet that I’ve inspired someone to travel with their child. That’s been my goal and that felt amazing to read that tweet.
Where do you hope blogging will take you in the future?
I’m hoping to expand our travels, meet and interview other parent travelers, and just keep doing what we love.
