Hammersmith Health Books has just published a new book by Dr John Mansfield called The Six Secrets of Successful Weight Loss. One of these secrets is discovering any food sensitivities that can cause weight gain, and prevent weight loss. This is done by a 6 week elimination diet, starting with foods that have the least chance of causing a reaction and then introducing more common problem foods. The diet is based on over 20 years of research by Dr Mansfield – a medical doctor who has successfully treated many patients who struggled with their weight. There is no starvation, no calorie counting, no quick fix – just a simple method to test different food groups and monitor the effect they have on your body. Certain foods have also been found to cause migraines, fatigue and other health problems.
Dr Mansfield also explains why low calorie and low fat diets, while they may work in the short term, are not effective for controlling weight gain in the long term. A lot of people find a common food item that actually causes their weight gain and all it takes is removing that item from their diet for a huge effect on weight loss results. Stop wasting money on fad diets and discover the true secrets of weight loss.
What is the blogger assignment?
Trial the six week elimination diet and blog about your experience. For those that do not find food sensitivities that are linked to their weight problem there are further secrets of weight loss Dr Mansfield describes, such as thyroid problems. What type of blogs are you looking for?:
Weight loss blogs with good social media following…at least in the hundreds on twitter and Facebook. Preferably uk based but not essential. Although many people with varying degrees of weight problems can benefit from the ideas and methods in the book, the experience may be most valuable to someone with a considerable weight problem, especially someone who has tried every diet under the sun but can’t keep the weight off.
Preferred geographic location of the blogger:
How might you compensate the blogger?
How else might you compensate the blogger?
The experience should help you lose weight and keep it off for the rest of your life…you can keep the book of course! There is also the potential for consultation with Dr Mansfield if there are any particular issues at the end of the blogging experience that are not resolved. Blogs will be promoted on the Hammersmith Health Books social media pages, with around 1000 fans on Facebook and 500 on twitter. Can probably organise link on the hhb website too.
