Orchid is the UK’s leading male cancer charity covering all three male cancers – testicular, penile and prostate.Orchid exists to save men’s lives from male cancer through a range of support services, education and awareness campaigns and a pioneering research programme.
What is the blogging assignment?
We’re looking for bloggers to help get men to check themselves during Orchid’s Male Cancer Awareness Month (February) as part of our annual #CheckYourChaps campaign, which last year made it onto ITV’s Lorraine.
Orchid’s recent research shows that only 32% of men are regularly checking themselves – yet the disease has a 98% cure rate if caught early, so we need help telling men that checking really can save lives.
We’re looking for bloggers to post a guide to checking and have stats from our UK wide survey in Jan, videos and mini-infographics for you to use in your posts and any social media support with the hashtag #CheckYourChaps will be greatly received too!
