The team at Free Office Finder would love you to join our new social media campaign, focusing on well-being and productivity. We’re launching the #EarlybirdChallenge with a view to teach people about the benefits of waking up earlier and regaining some of their valuable free time. There are enormous physical and mental benefits to waking up earlier, which will lead to a healthier, happier and more productive you.
We want to inform readers about the various activities and places to go in the early morning, and inspire people to get involved over social media. As we work in finding people their perfect offices to increase the productivity and success of their business, we also recognise the importance of maintaining healthy, happy and well-balanced workers.
What is the blogging assignment?
We’re working with culture, fitness, food and lifestyle bloggers to promote the campaign. We have had bloggers going for early morning breakfasts at some of London’s most exciting locations, attending challenging exercise classes and heading out to capture the most beautiful dawn images. Alternatively, why not take your new-found time to test out delicious breakfast recipes to set you up for the day or even experiment with the most effective alarms? If you’re still stuck for ideas, how about joining our bloggers who have simply set themselves the task of waking up early every day for one week and writing about the effects?
The aim is for you to write about your experience of waking up and ‘seizing the day’ in a fun and informal way, including links to our website (www.freeofficefinder.com) and sharing their posts via Facebook and Twitter (@officefinders). You can already see evidence of the campaign’s initial success online! Your experience will make for an original, captivating blog article that is sure to inform and entertain your followers.

What did you do this morning? Did you hit the snooze button repeatedly, putting off the inevitability of the day ahead? Maybe you rolled out of bed late, burnt your toast and stumbled bleary-eyed into another dreary commute. The morning can be an unpleasant notion – one that we’d rather not think about once 9am has come around, and we’ve settled into our desks for another long day of work and moaning about our lack of free time. Recent studies by The Daily Mail and The Telegraph showed that 34% of people constantly feel rushed and a whopping 61% claim to have no free time at all. A third of adults claim to have less than an hour to themselves after work, and many mothers have a meagre 17 minutes a day to call their own.
The benefits of getting up in the early hours of the morning are enormous. You can make a huge difference to your health and mindset, simply by adjusting your sleeping pattern. Healthier sleeping patterns have been proven to reduce obesity. Waking up earlier provides you with the opportunity to eat a proper breakfast, fuelling our bodies with the right stuff to make the most of the day ahead. It helps with stress reduction and management, as we remove the rush of the morning and replace it with time for ourselves, loved ones, and surroundings. Morning exercise energises the rest of our day as fresh oxygen encourages cell renewal and purifies blood, curing old aches and pains.
