Brand or business name:
The Children’s Society
Please tell us about the product or company you would like the blogger’s help with?
We are a charity working to change the stories of England’s most disadvantaged children and teenagers of all faiths and none. We provide support to teenagers at risk from abuse, neglect or violence.
Our fun new BenevoLent tool allows you to calculate how much you can save from giving up your favourite indulgence over Lent. Giving up your favourite snack, beauty treatment, alcoholic beverage or other luxury could also help others, and BenevoLent helps you see the difference you could make for disadvantaged children by donating your savings.
What is the blogging assignment?
Choose the luxury you want to give up – make it something you really care about (and hopefully what you’re known for on your blog). Take up our BenevoLent challenge here: http://benevolent.childrenssociety.org.uk/lent/
Once you’ve accepted, share your experiences giving up the thing you love most on your blog. Are you known for your selfies, tasty food photos, fashion/beauty advice, opinion vlogs or written monologues? We want you to share your story as you live for 6 weeks without giving into the temptation of your favourite thing to do.
Bloggers must:
Link to http://benevolent.childrenssociety.org.uk/lent/ on their blog
Mention The Children’s Society and who we are on their blog
Mention our Twitter account on any tweet content about the challenge https://twitter.com/childrensociety
Mention the campaign hashtag #BenevoLent on tweet about the challenge
Mention our Facebook Page on any Facebook content about the challenge https://www.facebook.com/childrenssociety
