Brand or business name:
The Just Slate Company
Please tell us about the product or company you would like the blogger’s help with?
The Just Slate Company are the UK’s leading supplier of slate tableware and homeware goods. We are stocked in high street retailers like John Lewis, Selfridges, Harrods, Lakeland, Fortnum & Mason and sell from our own website at www.justslate.co.uk.
We only use natural slate and hand-cut all our products in our workshops in Scotland. Each piece of slate is unique and each comes oiled for protection, rubber backed so it doesn’t slip on table surfaces and packed in our elegant hard board presentation boxes.
Our range of products are hugely popular throughout the year as wedding & birthday gifts but Christmas, not unsurprisingly is our busiest time of the year as our products make unique and interesting presents.
What is the blogging assignment?
Every Christmas it gets harder to shout above the noise of other brands and competitors so we’re looking for bloggers who can get our products out to their followers, particularly as ideal Christmas gifts (especially for people who are difficult to buy for!) or as perfect table accessories to make Christmas extra special. Our objective is to drive traffic (and therefore sales) to our website at www.justslate.co.uk
We would be happy to offer exclusive discount codes that you can pass on to followers or would listen positively to options for providing samples for review or payment for blog articles (would need to have high levels of target market reach).
Our core target market is
– 65:35 female to male
– medium to high earning
– interested in food, home decoration, country living, design,
We would require a link back to our website and, in certain circumstances keyword links throughout the article.
What type of blogs are you looking for?
We are almost exclusively looking for UK bloggers but we do have a presence in the USA so may consider this but it would need to be an outstanding opportunity (no timewasters on this please).
We’re looking for professional looking blogs, preferably with a large reach but we would consider niche blogs if the area of expertise was appropriate to our audience.
We would favour blogs with popular attached social media, specifically FB but our products work well on Pinterest so that may be of interest too.
Our budget is limited so I envisage choosing a small number of highly desirable blogs and working closely with them rather than spreading budget / coverage too thinly.
Preferred geographic location of the blogger:
