Kiddicare are delighted to be working with the Kids Company, an extremely valuable charity who provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable children, young people and families. It is often said ‘charity begins at home’ and certainly the Kids Company supports deprived and at risk children on our doorstep – it reaches 36,000 kids across London, Bristol and Liverpool.
We think the best way to raise awareness of the important work this charity does is to host parents with a wide sphere of influence so that they can get involved in one of the projects. Kiddicare will be hosting a ‘Colour a Child’s Life’ project in London on 2nd June, whereby parent blogger volunteers will get together to transform the chronic living conditions of a family within a disadvantaged community.
What is the blogging assignment?
To volunteer on the Kids Company project by donating just one day of your time. We will assist KidsCo staff, who specialise in cleaning, decorating and carpentry, to renovate a home so that the family can live in a safe environment that they are proud of. On Tuesday 2nd June our team of parent influencers will spend the day renovating a child’s room – each project is tailor made and flexible to meet the needs of the family or young person involved, with the priority being children living in unsafe and exceptionally depleted conditions (note: we will be filming on the day). We are looking for blog posts on the project in the lead up to the event as well as follow up posts.
What type of blogs are you looking for?
We are looking for parenting bloggers in or near London who are available for the whole day on Tuesday 2nd June.
We have a limited number of spaces available and need people to be able to commit. Ideally we’d like bloggers with a Google Page Rank of 3 or above to gain the required visibility.
Preferred geographic location of the blogger:
How might you compensate the blogger?
How else might you compensate the blogger?
We will be hosting the entire day, including fees and material costs
