The Children’s Society is a national charity that runs local services, helping children and young people when they are at their most vulnerable, and have nowhere left to turn. We also campaign for changes to laws affecting children and young people, to stop the mistakes of the past being repeated in the future. Our supporters around the country fund our services and join our campaigns to show children and young people they are on their side.
What is the blogging assignment?
The assignment is to run the London 10k on 29 May 2017 with The Children’s Society and share your experience in blogs, vlogs or micro-blogs.
As one of the most popular London runs, The London 10,000 is a fast, flat 10K race that takes in many of London’s most iconic landmarks. It features Admiralty Arch, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, the Bank of England, the Old Bailey, Somerset House, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
We will support you every step of the way with an online training zone with your own virtual personal trainer. You’ll get a running vest, personalised with your name. There’s first-class service from our dedicated Events Team and a cheering post en route. If you’d like to fundraise, you’ll get a fundraising guide, email updates and invaluable fundraising advice
We want to find bloggers who blog about running, fitness and lifestyle topics and would like to help.
