Do you want your child to have the opportunity to learn three languages this year?
The Junior Language Challenge (JLC) is an annual competition held in the U.K. for children aged 10 or under on 1st September 2015.
Each child has to pay a small entry fee of £5, which is donated, to onebillion. They are a charity working with some of the world’s poorest children, to provide tablet devices to schools in Malawi, where classes have well over 100 pupils with a single teacher.
Children have three months to learn the first language, which is Portuguese this year. We give them access to language learning tuition where they gain points for each of the different topics they complete.
The highest scoring pupils from across the country go through to round two of the competition where they are given a new language to learn. The top scorers from the second round go through to the final, which is held at the Language Live Show in October.
The winner of the JLC receives a family trip to Malawi.
