Much to my delight E.l.f products we’re finally launched in superdrug. I have tried a few different products from this brand previously but always had to order on the E.l.f Makeup website
So while doing some regular shopping in Superdrug i decided to give three products a try from the range, seen as there was a 3 for 2 offer at the time i thought why not.. and I’m not going to lie knowing E.l.f products had just taken over Superdrug i couldn’t walk away without buying something.. right?!
Products I chose :
Tone Adjusting Face Primer – Brightening Lavender 403
I have seen so many great reviews on this one and the colour and packaging just caught my eye. After purchasing I learnt that the packaging was very misleading.. The packaging looks to contain much more product than it actually does, if you take the packaging apart you will find the product itself is within a very thin tube like container so you are getting 14ml of product.. Technically £7.50 is still quite a reasonable price for 14ml of silicone based primer it feels very similar in texture to the Benefit Porefessional primer – satin type feel. It is an air pump bottle. It’s purple in colour but turns practically colourless when blending. A little does go a long way which is another reason why i like it and it leaves a lovely soft feel to the skin it’s applied to. I definitely feel like this primer fills my fine lines and my foundation sits quite nicely over the top rather than moving the primer underneath it around, leaves a matte satin finish – which i always go for in primers. The product also claims to brighten dull and yellow skin tones and even out skin tone. I would definitely have to agree with the brightening.
