Bristol Bloggers Meet 1.0 – who’s excited?
It’s been a few months in planning now and I can honestly say I am so proud of how far it has come. From having no venue at all and countless rejections from brands, I can finally say that the Bristol Bloggers Meet 1.0 is happening!
Where will this event be?
The Bristol Bloggers Meet will take place on the 9th of July 2016, at The Cosy Club in Bristol from 12PM-3:30PM.
How many can attend?
There is a limited capacity of 35 people – 5 of which will be reserved for potential visitors and for myself and Paige. We will be giving out 30 tickets. Please be aware that there are more than 30 bloggers interested, so the tickets could potentially sell out very fast! Get your ticket while you can!
Tickets are free but I have also added a donation ticket. If you can spare a few pounds to raise money for Off The Record, please do. The money will be transferred through PayPal and I can assure you that any funds from donation tickets will be given to the appropriate charity. If you would rather pay in cash on the day, I will have a charity funds pot. Just let me know!
What will be happening there?
At the event we will have a lot of time to mingle with each other and have some fun! I am hoping to get some brand representatives in to talk to us about a few things. There will also be a bar where you can purchase food and drink as you would like (remember ID!). I am also planning to hold a raffle to raise money for a charity very close to my heart – Bristol Off the Record. Basically, a lovely little venue where we can all chill, relax and have a little chit chat with some fellow bloggers!
Raising money for charity?
As part of this event, I am planning to raise money for Off The Record, a charity that offer support services for young people that struggle with mental illnesses. The work Off The Record does for people struggling with mental health problems is outstanding. I would love to raise some money for them, even if it is just a little amount. My own struggles with mental health has made me so passionate about not only raising awareness for MH disorders, but also supporting charities that help those with MH disorders. Without the help, very few of us could get better. Fighting a MH disorder alone is borderline impossible.
