Blimey, we are nearly half way through November already! How on earth is that possible? We still have so much shopping to get done before Christmas.
Last week was one of change and happiness. I have been looking forward to sharing this post because it is memories that I absolutely treasure.
Friday, Shaniah took a trip to the opticians and after a few fun tests and examinations the optician decided that Shaniah would benefit from glasses. It came as a bit of a shock to me and I will admit I got a little upset at the fact that I didn’t take her in sooner. The optician calmed me down and said that it was all okay and that I did the right thing bringing her in when I did so that they could try and correct things before she starts school.
We headed out into the waiting room where there were loads and loads of glasses in all different shapes, colours and sizes. Shaniah didn’t take long to pick some with Disney princesses all over them! Typical hey?
We headed off to Longleat with Ryan’s family. We always go around this time of the year to see a certain man in red! We took a trip around their safari first, however the animals seemed a little shy and the traffic was at a stand still for the majority of the safari. Once we had made our way through the safari, we headed off to check out the festival of light.
