Today I am handing over my blog to the lovely Mel of Melanie’s Fab Finds. She does some amazing restaurant reviews and has collected together 5 she thinks you should visit in London!

We all want to go to nice restaurants and feel spoilt but great service and delicious food but many times it can end up costing a fortune especially if you plan to dine in London.

Being a Londoner myself I have visited a number of good London restaurants and found you can try some wonderful food in some beautiful restaurants yet not pay an arm and a leg.

Whether you are visiting London and want to try a great restaurant, going on a date or out with friends and don’t really know where to go that looks great, offers delicious food yet budget friendly don’t worry as I’m here to help.

Here are my:

Top 5 Trendy Budget Friendly London Restaurants

100 Wardour Street

100 Wardour Street

The restaurant is perfect for all sorts of met ups whether they are romantic or fun.  You will get to chose from a menu priced at either £15 or £22 for 2 or 3 courses respectively.

Of course there is an A La Carte menu but this will set you back much more.

The set menu price(s) are amazing considering the location and some may be interested to hear that this restaurant is often frequented by celebrities.

The food is well presented, delicious and portions are reasonable.  The menu covers various tastes.

There is also a club at this venue should you wish to continue the evening with a little dancing to work off the calories you’ve just consumed.

This restaurant is located on the 6th floor with direct access by a glass elevator (this was a challenge as I’m scared of heights).

Once you make it to the rooftop terrace everything is enclosed.

The terrace is nicely furnished with large comfy seating and pretty fairy light and numerous heaters.
From here and within the restaurant you will see the most gorgeous views of St Pauls and across London that are stunning to behold.

The food is fantastic and I love that they have live entertainment.

Dine inside or al fresco, either way, works well.

They offer a 2 course and 3 courses set menu both with 4 options per course (£20 including wine / £30 including a glass of bubbles).

The prices are fair and portions are good.

The food here was lovely and it was apparent from the number of diners there that it is very popular.

You never know which celebrity you might spot in this hidden away gem of a restaurant that is well known amongst those that love quality cuisine, great service and a great atmosphere.

It can get pretty lively and there is also live music on certain days which is great fun.

There is a 2 and 3 course set menu to choose from, 3 options per course (£20 including a glass of wine / £30 including a glass of bubbles) as well as Saturday Brunch and Sunday lunch.

The food here was very good, fresh and full of flavour, the service was impeccable!

I loved the sophisticated set up of this restaurant.

Everyone was exceptionally friendly from other diners to staff.

I was immediately under its spell.  The food was fresh and full of flavour.

There are 3 great set menus to choose from priced at £20 for a 2 course with wine, 2 or 3 course (£18.50 / £21.50), 2 or 3 course (£22.00 / £25.00) both with wine.

My try; the seabream is fantastic!!!

Monmouth Kitchen

Monmouth Kitchen

Beautiful fresh flavours and a lovely atmosphere and venue, Monmouth kitchen is a great restaurant that is different from many.

The menu is a mix of South American and Mediterranean.

I remember savouring every morsel of the food there was wonderful.  Pricewise you are looking at £20 (3 dishes per person) £25 (4 dishes per person) if you choose from the lunch / pre theatre menu.

It’s a popular and trendy restaurant so make sure you book or arrive early.

Did you know any great hidden gems that are reasonably priced and serve great food in London?
