So I’m back with another Boohoo collab, and I count myself very lucky!
This time it’s a Boohoo Halloween special. Spooky!
I love Halloween, as I am skeleton/gothic mad all year round so I can really show my personality at Halloween time which I love.
Boohoo wanted to see what Halloween look I could create from their awesome range. After spending a ridiculously long time jaw dropping over most of their stuff, I opted for the sexy skeleton look. Okay maybe less of the ‘sexy’ and more ‘I need to learn basic make up before attempting anything else’.
Watch my awful attempt of the skeletal make up here:
I love bodysuits and this metallic Skeleton piece really jumped out at me.
I really like the long sleeves and how eye-catching the metallic bones are.
The bodysuit has two poppers to do it up underneath the erm.. vajay-jay region which my partner had to help to do up, so that was quite comical!
I thought the thigh high boots would really pull the outfit off and add a touch of glam. I think thigh high boots are super glamorous and can make such a huge difference to any outfit. Halloween themed or not!
The Vampire Make Up Kit
This was a must for me as I am clueless when it comes to make up. I never know what colours to use or where to start, so with some inspiration in mind, I used the vampire kit to attempt a blood hungry Skeleton look.
As you know..
I am clueless when it comes to make up and can just about manage a natural everyday look without throwing a tantrum and scowling at my make up products. However I really want to give it a go so I did. It kinda looks like a toddler has scribbled on my face but hey I could only do make up like a baby before so I’m improving!
So with no perfect background in mind for the photos I took them in my bedroom. Yep. My girly gold bedroom. But thanks to the power of photo editing apps (in this case Photolab) I could swap the background with a moody neon look in seconds.
Here’s some before pictures
Don’t gorget to check out the Boohoo website! You won’t be dissapointed!
What do you guys think of this look? Oh and where did you get your Halloween costumes from this year?
