Community blog post

I didn’t realise how much I liked October until this month began and the excitement for Halloween flooded through me.

What makes this October even better, is the fabulous brands I have had the pleasure of collaborating with.

The first, being Jewellerybox.

I met a lovely lady from jewellerybox at a blogging event this year and absolutely loved the items they had on show. I especially loved the cute silver pieces.

Jewellerybox very kindly let me choose which items I would like to try and review so I opted for this lovely eye bracelet.

This gorgeous pair of emerald earrings, and this stunning emerald ring. Emerald is my birthstone and green is my surname weirdly enough, so I couldn’t resist getting some items that are personal to me.

Also Kathleen Natural

I was really excited to collab with Kathleen as I had already noticed them through social media before we arranged a collaboration. The lovely individual(s) behind their social media channels are really nice, which makes the collaboration even greater!

This is the first time I’ve received a handwritten message when receiving a product to review, so this made my absolute day! It really is the small things that count! 😊

They’ve just launched their new roll on body oils in 3 different scents:

Tranquil Fields

Citrus Cheer

Sensual Rose (which I chose)

The top note of the sensual rose is orange essential oil. The booklet that came with it says that orange oil is naturally revitalising, and creates a higher, uplifting and invigorating ambience.

The heart note is rose essential oil which can enhance feelings of wellbeing, positivity and joy.

The base note is nutmeg essential oil which can be useful for feasting muscular and joint pain. The aroma can comfort the body, improve blood circulation and help reduce mood swings and depression.

What more could you want?

This is such a handy little luxury as it fits inside my make up bag, and I only needed to apply to pressure points which are my neck and wrists and the scent actually lasted for a good few hours. The scent isn’t too overbearing which is great, but it isn’t too subtle that it wouldn’t be noticed.

I’m really happy I got to try this product! I’m already eyeing up their massage oils as they also look incredible!

What new products have you tried this October so far?
