Rockliffe Gardens With My Niece.
I look after my niece 3 days a week, so I am always trying to find ways to entertain her. So I decided to take her to a place called Rockliffe Gardens. I haven’t written a blog post in so long I definitely needed a break.
You don’t realise but everything is always goal related and I don’t think it’s healthy!I am learning to cut out unhealthy distractions and start creating my happy hormones again. So I have been stepping away from my laptop and phone and it has felt so bloody good!
I have limited going on my laptop only for a few hours, a day and on the weekends not going on it at all. This weekend I am gonna be deleting all the apps on my phone and just enjoy life and live in the present. Today I went for a walk in the park with my niece. As I am writing this I’m sitting in the garden with a carton of ribena and enjoying the sun.
In Plumstead kids have been painting stones and my niece loved going round all the park to find them. So when we got back we painted some and some cones to go and hide. So the other kids to find them she loved it and also just being in nature is so good for her and me.
They have two horses near by and Sienna loves horses so we went to see them as well.
I can’t wait until she is older so she can do horse riding lessons! I think that will be so good for her and I know she would love it.
These are all the stones she found today!
It is so good they where on the trees, by the rocks with the little pond. It is like a healthy easter egg hunt which is such a good idea.
This weekend I am gonna have some time off and just enjoy it with my family. So there will be fewer posts on Instagram and twitter.
But I will be back refreshed and hopefully write a lot more posts.
It is so Important to be present and spend quality time.
Love Kirsty x
