You may have noticed a section on the Bloggers Required website named ‘PR friendly badge‘. The PR friendly badge is signage we have created that can be personalised with your own text and embedded on your blog, to signify you are a PR friendly blogger.
Some reasons to add a badge to your site:
- It provides bloggers with an easy way of letting PRs know that they are happy to be pitched to.
- New and up-and-coming blogs that may be overlooked by PRs now have a symbol to attract PR attention.
- The customisable text helps ensure that you will only receive PR communications on topics that interest you.
- It might help to stop unrelated pitches clogging up your inbox.
As a way of thanking people for adding our badge to their blogs, we have decided to start profiling some of the fantastic PR friendly bloggers who are currently displaying the badge. Therefore, if you have already added one of our PR friendly badges to your site, you could become one of our first bloggers featured. Our blogger profile series of posts will include an overview of your blog; a screen shot of your blog, why we like it, and of course links to your social profiles.
Look out for the first featured blogger, coming soon. If you want to be in with a chance of being featured, all you need to have our PR friendly blog badge visible on your site.
